About Douglas Auto Body & Paint, Inc.

The corporation is owned and operated by the Daghla family. George Daghla has been in the auto body industry for 50 years. He is fully I-CAR certified, and has managed production for the shop. Armen Daghla, George's son, is the president of the corporation and general manager. He has been in the auto body industry for 25 years and he is fully I-CAR certified, ASE certified, and is a graduate of the Masters School of Autobody Management. Armen's brother, Kevin Daghla, is vice president of the corporation and assistant manager of the shop. He has been in the auto body industry for 15 years and he too is fully I-CAR certified. Datevig Daghla, the office manager, has been in the auto body industry for 8 years and is I-CAR certified for her position.

Armen Daghla started as a body technician and was quickly promoted to technician team leader. After successfully managing technician teams, in 1992 he was promoted to production manager, managing production quality, employee performance, and also customer service. He became the only direct writer for Farmers Insurance Group, 20th Century Insurance, The Auto Club of Southern California, Hartford, and Allstate. He decided in 1998 to create his own family-owned business: Douglas Auto Body and Paint.

In the years since 1998, the shop has become I-CAR GOLD, ASE Certified, and a direct repair facility for A.I.G., American Express, Farmers, Progressive, and Safeco Insurance companies, plus the authorized repair facility for Rusnak Porshe, Volvo, and Audi, Pasadena Volkswagen, and Pasadena Ford. To provide rapid job turn-around without a loss of quality, the shop is open from 7:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M., operating with two shifts. Multiple frame machines keep bottlenecks from occurring, and the shop has expanded from a 16,000 square foot facility to over 50,000 square feet.

Customer satisfaction is the number one priority at Douglas Auto Body and Paint, with a lifetime repair warranty, unlimited pick up and delivery, rental car service to the customer's home or location, and 24 hour, 7 day a week towing. An active participant in the community and industry, the shop belongs to the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, sponsors a little league, and is a member of the Society of Collision Repair Specialists.
